FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURES

  • 1 Peter 4:10

10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

  • 1 Corinthians 3:9

9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

  • Colossians 3:23-24

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

  • Hebrews 13:20-21

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

CORE BELIEFS

We believe...

  • All scripture in the Holy Bible is God-breathed and is the infallible, final authority for our life and doctrine. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

  • God is one but manifested in three, equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)

  • Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. (Matthew 1:18-25)

  • Jesus was the only begotten Son of God, lived a perfect life, was crucified, died, was buried and was resurrected on the third day. He is the risen Son of God and the only Way to salvation. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. (Acts 2:14-41)

  • Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord for the Believer. It is a symbol of the Believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19-20)

  • The Lord commanded Believers to observe the Lord’s Supper, by the sacred use of the broken bread, representing our Lord’s body, and the juice of the vine, representing our Lord’s blood. When Believers participate in the Lord's Supper they are proclaiming the Lord’s sacrifice until He comes again. (1 Corinthians 11:17-26)

  • In the return of our Lord Jesus. He will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17)

  • In the eternal punishment of those who do not receive salvation by grace through faith in Jesus. (Jude 7)
